                       PLASTIC PRINTS

  Plastic prints or impressions are prints depressed in soft materials by any one area of ridge formations on the body.  Impressions made on such objects as soap, butter, cheese, putty, paint (not dried), grease, etc.  The adhesive side of tape and postage stamps can also provide plastic prints.
